Robson Acoustics have spent many years in the field of digital audio and had many successful shows and exhibitions demonstrating the benefits of digital audio with-out the need for CD and other audio sources.
We are now in the enviable position of being able to offer a Media player which can not only better the very best CD players as a dedicated 2ch source but offer a full multimedia experience with BluRay, DVD playback and storage at full 1080p high resolution via HDMI.
The standard server comes with a dedicated 60Mb solid state drive, a 2Tb audio or video drive upgradable to 6Tb with options to output audio via digital to a separate DAC or Processor or to incorporate a Reference high resolution internal DAC.
Having ripped your entire CD collection or video collection onto the server, control can be via ipad, iphone or ipod with many other devices also able to control audio or video playback.
For ease of use all Media servers come with many functions automated so when for example a CD is placed in the tray, the contents will automatically be ripped to the library where album art and details are downloaded or when a DVD is loaded, Media Centre will automatically play the movie.
The server can also be used to create playlists and compilation albums for burning to CD or download to I-pods, mobile phones or any other device able to play MP3 and other formats.
Media Servers come in a choice of 3 cases, the first of which has a simple display showing artist/track name during playback. The second choice has a 7 inch touch screen display built into the front of the case with the third choice incorporating a motorised 12 inch touch screen display.
Colour options are either black or silver brushed aluminium.
