GREYSTOKE ULTIMA

Following on from the success of Elixir, Greystoke Ultima further excels in it's ability to radiate an incredible soundstage by using the legendary Lowther DX4 single point drive unit and  2 of arguably the best bass units in the world. Coupled together to give a high sensitivity loudspeaker of 93dB which can be easilly driven by most valve amplifiers.

Crossover design is minimal and the usual harshness of the lowther unit taken out. Just when you thought you had heard your cd or record collection at it's best, Ultima will reveal details in the recording never before heard.

The inert baffle which is over 50mm thick allows only the cones of the drivers to move providing speed and dynamics whilst the open baffle design allows a uniform radiation pattern front and rear without the problems of bass compression or box signatures.

Greystoke Ultima undergoes more than 220 hours of hand crafted and precision engineering followed by a further 6 weeks of painstaking assembly and finishing
to achieve a product which will not only bring audio nirvana but become a beautiful addition to your living space.

Room acoustics play an important role in the careful set-up of these loudspeakers which is why they are integrated into the listening room using complex room analysis and measurements followed by minute adjustments in HF, LF and balance.

Allowing for all personal styles, Ultima like all the products from Robson Acoustics can be fully customised by a bespoke service like no other. With a huge selection of hides and hardwoods at our disposal, the only limiting factor is your imagination.
